What is THE English
as a second
language (ESL)
program?
English as a Second Language (ESL)
is the study of English for people
whose native language is not
English. ESL courses are intended to
develop English language skills
necessary for success in college, in
the workplace, and your personal
life.
If you are interested in learning the
English language we welcome you
to participate in Victor Valley
ESL Courses
The ESL program at VVC offers a
variety of credit and non-credit
courses during the day and
evening to help you develop your
English listening,
speaking, reading,
writing and
grammar skills. The
courses you take
depend on the skill
level you place in after you take
your ESL assessment exam. In addition, ESL Basic Computer Literacy
courses are offered to help you
learn how to use a computer and
the internet for class assignments.
Esl services
College’s (VVC) credit and non-credit
ESL courses.
