RECYCLED BOAT REGATTA ~ Come join us on an adventure of sustainability. Participants will race their
boats made from recycled or recyclable materials on our own lake. Boats may be made from any
material that can be recycled. In addition paint, waterproofing, fasteners and adhesives may be used. In
the past we have had boats made of car body parts, airplane parts, newspaper, cardboard, Styrofoam,
bottles, cans, store displays, concrete made with Styrofoam aggregate and bicycles. Let your creativity
run wild.

support one or more racers. Motive power must be via wind or human power only. All items including
hulls, sails, masts, paddles and oars must be created from recycled or recyclable materials. All boats
must have adequate positive floatation devices affixed to the hull to prevent the hull or any component
