Academic Senate – Information Item – May 7, 2015 - REVISED Global Citizenship Approved Courses 2015-2016 BACKGROUND: In June 2010, the Academic Senate approved a graduation requirement for Global Citizenship: “Explore, identify, and evaluate the factors that have shaped our global community to gain an understanding of the individual’s roles in relationship to other individuals and systems on a global level.” In fall 2014, the Graduation Requirements Committee requested faculty input for additional courses to meet the requirement. The following list was vetted through the Counseling Department and approved by the Graduation Requirements Committee and will be added to the list of courses which meet the requirement effective Fall 2015.
