Debra Potts, MSN, RN, CEN, CPEN
Debra is the Nurse Manager of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Emergency Department. She is an
expert in pediatric emergency nursing, a respected
author and a sought-after speaker who is passionate
about pediatric emergency nursing and preparing
emergency nurses to become certified in pediatric
emergency care (CPEN).
Debra is an expert in pediatric emergency nursing,
author and speaker. Deb has dedicated much of her
career to pediatric emergency nursing at a large urban pediatric emergency department.
Deb enjoys teaching and learning many topics in critical care. Her passion for education is evident through
her energy, presentation style and her ability to engage the audience. She considers it a privilege to
share her expertise and experiences with other
healthcare professionals
