Honor Swim
Please join the Honor Swim Team, the
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s
SWAT Team and Animal Care & Control as
we celebrate the completion of the Honor
Swim for the children of fallen brothers,
Officer Sean Clark and Officer Fred Thornton.
On Wednesday, May 18th – Thursday,
May 19th, 2016, six Charlotte-Mecklenburg
Police Officers will swim the 34 mile length of Lake Norman to raise college funding for the children of
Officer Sean Clark and Officer Fred Thornton. A large, family-friendly festival that is open to the public will
be held at the finish line to celebrate the close of the swim.
When: Thursday, May 19, 2016
