ABSTRACT: We see that most libraries plan to move their entire journals collection to
online only. It's an Erevolution . What are consequences for end users, librarians,
publishers and subscription agencies?
In this context, a lot of consortia have emerged. In France the Couperin consortium has
been created.

to evaluate and purchase electronic information products for its members at the
best price.

And to build a national network of skills and exchange in the field of
information systems
At international level, consortia gather to put pressure on different actors particularly
governments and the European Commission.
