A. Response to Submitted Questions
The responses to all clarifying questions submitted prior to the September 18, 2014 deadline are
included below.
1. RFP Administration
a. Is bid tabulation available for the existing contract’s review process?
i. Answer: There was no bid summary put together during the process.
2. Incumbent and Current Contract
a. Since mandated headcount is provided, is it the same as the headcount in place now that
drives the estimated annual amount listed?
i. Answer: A mandated headcount is not provided as part of this RFP. However,
the current headcount is included and is representative of the staffing that makes
up a portion of the estimated annual amount listed in Addendum 2.
b. I noticed we need a letter regarding insurance coverage, but I do not see the requirements
outlined in your RFP.
i. Answer: The insurance requirements are set forth in the Service Agreement
included as part of Addendum 1.

a. What is the Stock Clerk Wage Rate?
i. Answer: $10.13 an hour.
b. What is the 1st Shift Restroom Attendant Supervisor Wage Rate?
i. Answer: $11.26 an hour.
c. What is the 1st Shift Supervisor Wage Rate?
i. Answer: $15.88 an hour.
d. What is the 2nd Shift Supervisor Wage Rate?
i. Answer: $11.82 an hour.
e. Evening Crew Lead – I don’t see that position listed in Attachment 6: Current Staffing,
how many weekly hours?
i. The Position is listed as Area Leads in the Weekly Hours by Position Chart in
Attachment 6.
What is the 2nd Shift Restroom Attendant Supervisor Wage Rate?
i. Answer: $11.26 an hour.
g. What is the Outside Trash Monitor Wage Rate?
i. Answer: $10.13 an hour.
h. What is the Project Lead Wage Rate?
i. Answer: $16.88 an hour.
i. In RFP, page 54, Old Terminal, it says 48 weekly hours and on Attachment 6 it says 20
weekly hours, which is correct?
i. Answer: Page 54 is correct, currently there is a total of 48 hours worked weekly
at the Old Terminal.
j. In RFP, page 55, starting with #3 Toll Plazas, there are many conflicting hours compared
to Attachment6:
i. #3 – Toll Plaza (Estimated 20 hours weekly)
ii. #3d – Staffing (For Toll Plazas, Parking Deck Elevators & Taxi Hold Area)
1. 1 person Monday – Thursday (40 hours)
2. 1 person Friday – Sunday (36 hours)
iii. #4 – Parking Deck Elevators (Estimated 28 hours weekly)
iv. #5 – Staffing (For Toll Plazas, Parking Deck Elevators & Taxi Hold Areas

vii. Answer: Currently, staff spends approximately 20 hours in the Toll Plazas, 28 in
the Parking Deck Elevators and 28 in the Taxi Hold area. This is a total of 76
hours a week. The staffing for these three areas is provided by one person
working Monday- Thursday at 40 hours and 1 person Friday –Sunday working
36 hours for again a total of 76 hours. These are the correct hours, the chart in
Attachment 6 is incorrect.
viii. #6 Total Estimated weekly hours for remote areas; on Attachment 6, the total
remote areas sum up to 173. Can CLT provide an updated Attachment 6, page
57 of RFP, with correct positions, by shift and location and correct weekly
hours?
1. Answer: As stated above, the numbers are incorrect tin the chart in
Attachment 6. The total estimated hours for the Remote Work is 245 as
stated in Attachment 5. As the hours are properly laid out for proposer
by area in Attachment 5, a new Attachment 6 chart will not be provided.
9. Employee Parking

a. RFP says “cost associated with badging will be borne by the selected Proposer with the
exception of fingerprinting…”What is the badging cost?”
i. Answer: There is no separate upfront badging cost outside of fingerprinting,
however, there is a cost associated with replacement badges where the original
badge is lost or stolen.
11. Equipment

12. Scope of Services
a. Question 12i, Chemicals – Just to confirm, vendors must use Spartan chemicals vs other
national providers such as Diversey?
i. Yes, the selected vendor must use Spartan chemicals
