There is geographic variation within
England in the ability of people
suffering heart attacks to access the
best treatment for that heart attack.
The extent and nature of this variation
is described.
Dr McPherson will describe an algorithm
that defines disease specific catchment
areas for healthcare organisations and
illustrate why these are better than
existing administrative boundaries.
