The Pharmaceutics IV Practicals handbook is available on VLE, to be filled in during the laboratory
sessions.
All students must be equipped with a lab coat and safety specs during the practical sessions and are
expected to be familiar with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs), referred to in the handbook,
and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Laboratory Practice listed hereunder before
entering the laboratory. The MSDSs and SOPs are available on the Pharmacy Department’s website
(http://www.um.edu.mt/ms/pharmacy/coursework).
