ATTENTION FOURTH YEAR STUDENTS
PHR 4120 PHARMACY PRACTICE PROJECT III
SUBMISSION OF REPORT
A 2 page progress report completed on the template provided (A4,
two column template) using Times New Roman size 10, and single
line spacing is to be submitted in the pigeon hole of Ms Maresca
Attard Pizzuto.
The Report is a concise description of the fieldwork carried out. It
should include the following headers:
Introduction, Methods,
Results, Discussion, References. In the results section tables and
figures may be included.
The report is intended to summarise the specific aims of the
project and to provide an account of fieldwork undertaken and
results achieved. You are expected to outline the procedures
undertaken to accomplish aims of the project. Include procedures
followed for collection, analysis and interpretation of data.
Summarise the importance of the findings. Describe any changes
from the approved protocol in the research design and highlight the
significance of these changes. Discuss potential difficulties and
propose alternative approach to achieve aims for areas which have
not been tackled until submission of report. Present preliminary
results and outline results that are expected.
Include in appendix all questionnaires, protocols followed and
other printed materials that have resulted from the project.
Use the author-date citation system. A list of references should be
included at the end of the text, listed according to the International
Committee of Medical Journal Editors Uniform Requirements for
Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals. Please refer to:.

SUBMISSION OF LITERATURE REVIEW AND METHODOLOGY
Students are requested to submit:
Literature review Background presentation including referenced
basic literature review with emphasis on pertinent
findings that are relevant to the study being
undertaken. State aims and objectives.
Methodology
Detailed description of methodology followed
including setting, sample size, procedure, data
handling and statistical analysis.
References
In text references using the author-date citation
listed according to the International Committee of
Medical Journal Editors Uniform Requirements
for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical
Journals. Please refer to:.

Submissions have to be signed by project supervisor and
submitted in the pigeon hole of Ms Maresca Attard Pizzuto.
