MAGNUS NYSTRÖM

Magnus is one of the world’s leading experts on security architectures, cryptographic protocols,
and secure protocol design. He is the architect and co-architect of several RSA products, and
has filed several patent applications. Magnus has been a speaker at a number of industry
events including Compsec, ISSE and RSA Conferences and Seminars.
He is the author and co-author of numerous papers on Secure Networking, Access Control,
Cryptography, and wireless protocols, and the editor of several national and international
standards documents in the area of cryptography and computer security.
Before joining RSA Security, Magnus worked as a Security Consultant and for the Swedish
National Defense Radio Institute.
Magnus has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Uppsala, Sweden,
and is the co-chair of the IETF Securely Available Credentials (SACRED) working group.
