Creation of a new Focus Group on
ICT and climate change: z FG ICT&CC
The Focus Group will identify from the standardization viewpoint, the impact of ICTs on climate change, in particular:
¾ direct impact: reduction of ICT ’ s own emissions over their entire lifecycle
¾ indirect impact: mitigation that follows through the adoption of ICTs in other relevant sectors
¾ facilitating the monitoring of relevant climate parameters z Deliverables within half of next year

¾ self declaration
¾ Neutral test laboratory to test equipement
