Amol Bhagwat received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Telecommunications
from University of Pune, India. He also holds a Masters Degree in Telecommunications from
University of Colorado at Boulder. Amol Bhagwat is currently an Engineer for Technology
Development & OSS Provisioning within the Broadband Access group at CableLabs ®. Amol is
actively involved with the CableHome 1.0 and 1.1 specifications and certification process. He
chaired the Quality of Service working group during the CableHome 1.1 Specifications
development effort. He is an official CableLabs’ liaison to the UPnP Forum and represents
CableLabs in various UPnP working committees including Quality of Service and Internet
Gateway Devices.
