BIOGRAPHY Salanieta Tamanikaiwaimaro is the Manager of the Japan Pacific ICT Centre within the University of the South Pacific. The University of the South Pacific is the current Chair of the Council of Regional Organisations in the Pacific (CROP) Working Group on ICT. One of the Projects that she looks after is the Pacific Child Online Protection Project which comprises of stakeholders who have been doing work in this area over the past decade in the Region. She was the inaugural Chair of the Fiji Cyber Security Working Group when it was first commissioned several years ago and currently chairs the Legal Sub Committee of the Cyber Security Working Group. She is the President of the South Pacific Computer Society. She is also a Member of the Executive Council of the South East Asia Computer Confederation (SEARCC). She is also Founder and Chair of the Pacific Digital Alliance for Women in ICT. She serves on the Advisory Council of BrightPath Foundation and is a Director of Pasifika Nexus. She is the immediate past co‐Coordinator of the Civil Society Internet Governance Caucus which is the largest and oldest civil society network of organisations formed pre WSIS that engages in the global internet governance space. She is also the immediate past At Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) member representing the Asian Australian Pacific Region in ICANN.
