ELECTION OF DEAN
FACULTY OF ECONOMICS, MANAGEMENT
& ACCOUNTANCY
TO ACADEMIC STAFF MEMBERS:
According to the provisions of the Education Act (Cap.327), the Dean of the Faculty
"shall be elected for a term of four years by the academic staff of that Faculty and
from among the Heads of Department of that Faculty" (cfr. Section 74 subsection
14). The above Faculty is due to elect its Dean.
Nominations on forms available from the Office for Human Resources Management
and Development, Room 217, Administration Building, are to be handed in at the
Rector's Office by noon of Monday, 10thMarch 2008.
Nominations are to be duly proposed and seconded by academic members of the
respective Faculty. Nominated candidates have to signify, in writing, acceptance of
their nomination.
Nominations will be published on the Faculty notice board and on the main notice
board (Administration Building) on Tuesday, 11thMarch 2008.
Voting will take place by secret ballot on Thursday, 13th March 2008, from
9.00a.m. to 12.00 noon and from 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at Room 206, Faculty Board
Room, Faculty of Economics, Management & Accountancy.
NO MEMBER WILL BE ALLOWED TO VOTE WITHOUT A STATE
DOCUMENT SUCH AS PERSONAL IDENTITY CARD, PASSPORT, LICENCE
