The core of high-level specialty care is effective communication with patients, their families and
referring physicians. I pride myself on being an effective teacher and listener for my patients.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Avdalovic has general clinical interests in pulmonary and critical care, with a particular
emphasis on interstitial lung disease and asthma. His research activities focus on the molecular
aspects of lung wound repair.
Research/Academic Interests
Vascular growth factor expression by respiratory epithelium. Regenerative approaches to treating
chronic lung disease COPD phenotyping.
