World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-04)

Dear Sir/Madam,
Following the kind invitation of ANATEL (Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações) on
behalf of the Government of Brazil and according to Resolution 77 (Rev. Marrakesh, 2002) I
have the honour to inform you that the forthcoming World Telecommunication
Standardization Assembly (WTSA-04) will take place in Florianópolis (Brazil) from 5 to 14
October 2004.
In accordance with Article 25 of the Convention of the International Telecommunication
Union, I have great pleasure in hereby inviting your Government to send a delegation to
WTSA-04.
Member States are informed that this invitation is also being sent to Members of the
Telecommunication Standardization Sector as well as all concerned organizations, institutions
and entities in conformity with Article 25 of the ITU Convention and Resolution 99
(Minneapolis,1998).
Under separate cover you will receive the relevant Circular of the Telecommunication
Standardization Bureau (TSB) containing information on the organization and arrangements
of the above-mentioned Assembly.
