To download a copy or to allow students to download your presentation, go to your My Mediasite. Access available through K-­‐State Online (Canvas) or KSU Mediasite, https://kansasstate.mediasite.com/Mediasite/MyMediasite Locate video to download (My Channels or Shared Folders list). Click the file name to open the Summary window. 1. From the Summary tab screen, select the Edit tab. 2. Within the Edit tab screen, under the video screen, select the Delivery tab (next to Information and Player) 3. Within the Delivery tab, you have four different download options, select the one that past meets your needs: a. Audio Transcriptions (not available at this time) b. Podcast (for audio only MP3) c. Vodcast (for a MP4 video file – one video of presentation) d. Publish to Go (Zip file containing all the necessary HTML and video files to replicate the Mediasite presentation experience offline: student would just click on the Default.html file to launch presentation) 4. Click the Save button at the top of the page to preserve these settings. 5. On Summary tab screen, there will now be the selected Download buttons. When selecting Publish to Go for the first time, it may take several minutes to format these feature settings. The video may take several minutes to download to your computer due to the large file size. Video Podcast and Podcast will also take time to render. *NOTE: If you have a catalog listing of your Mediasite presentations, enabling the download option will create a student visible download link. Link is only displayed in catalog listings or within your My Mediasite interface. If you don’t want your students to download the content, uncheck the options described above after you have downloaded your copy, or Edit the catalog settings display options to not allow downloads. *NOTE: If you wish to enable this option to all the Mediasite presentations that you have within one of your Mediasite folders/channels, contact your Mediasite Admin and they can assist you in easily doing this to all desired content.
