Philosophy of Care
I love the issues, problems, diseases and challenges of pediatrics. I identify fundamental issues, see
how everything interrelates and try to provide my patients with excellent care. I do what is best
and correct for each child, with the understanding that illnesses and problems are a natural part of
life. My office works together as a family, providing services, knowledge, skills and abilities. I strive
to be accessible and to make my practice a model of pediatric care. In my view, common sense,
good nutrition and understanding health facts are all important to good health, as is trust in one’s
doctor and good communication among patient, family and physician. My practice combines the
power of the university and it state-of-the-art knowledge with a strong desire to help individuals
and families with their health care needs. I am also dedicated to making managed care work for
families.
Clinical Interests
Kevin A. Tracy is challenged by identifying the fundamental causes and interrelationships of
disease. One of his goals is to make managed care work for families. He establishes a comfortable,
family atmosphere for children while offering knowledge, skill and compassionate care. He
encourages parents to develop a basic understanding of good nutrition and preventive care, and to
exercise discipline with good common sense.
