1. Institute for Strategic and Development Studies (ISDS Philippines)—security,
development ISDS Philippines is an independent non-profit, policy research and
advocacy institution. It was established in response to the need for an ongoing
evaluation and interpretation of the changes in national and international affairs by
serious international, regional, and national analysts.

2. The Department of Political Science, University of the Philippines—political
sociology, political economy. The Department of Political Science is one of 8
departments within the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy at the
university. Established in 1915, the department greatly influenced the legalistic
and institutional approaches of political science in the Philippines. The college is
a center of research and scholarship.

3. Asian Center, University of the Philippines—regional security and diplomacy,
bilateral relations. The Asian Center is the University of the Philippines' only unit with
a regional area of specialization. It offers graduate level multidisciplinary academic
programs on Asian studies (including Philippine studies), and its faculty conduct
research on a broad range of political, economic, social and cultural issues affecting
Asia and the Pacific.
