A True Philosopher
The sea
was angry today,
throwing itself
against the shore
with suicidal intent,
only to pull back
before annihilation,
but the feigned death
was not for me,
rather I was only
a voyeur
not a participant
in act of madness.
October hail fell
with huge tear drops,
forcing me to shelter,
as if mocking
my timid attempts
at introspection,
