Requirement for award of B.A in Spanish Studies: 180 credits, of which 80 in Spanish Studies as in this
Programme of Studies, 80 in another main area according to the Programme of that area and 20 in
optional units.
Note. This programme of study is governed by “The General Regulations for University
Undergraduate Awards, 2008” and by the Bye-Laws for the award of the Bachelor of Arts and the
Bachelor of Arts (Honours) under the auspices of the Faculty of Arts.
IMPORTANT NOTES - Please read the following notes very carefully!
1. An A level in Spanish is required for entry into this course.
2. A minimum of 5 students would ordinarily have to register for a study-unit to be run.
3. Students opting for Spanish Studies should note that some study units are offered after 5 p.m.
4. The medium of instruction of the Study Units marked with an asterisk (*) is Spanish.
