Description of Course:
This course is aimed at people working within the automotive industry and provides a broad appreciation and
understanding of automotive electrical and electronic systems and technologies. The course provides a general foundation
together with a more detailed insight into key technologies and developments, concluding with an appreciation of the
future direction and challenges for the automotive industry. The course includes:
Embedded Electronic Control Systems
Automotive Networking (CAN, LIN, MOST and FlexRay)
Design and Testing of Complex Automotive Control System
Automotive Diagnostics
Future challenges
Objective:
By the end of the course attendees will have a general appreciation of current automotive electrical and electronics and an
understanding of potential future developments.
