Megan Daly, M.D.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Daly has a clinical focus on the treatment of thoracic malignancies, lymphoma, and head and
neck cancers. She specializes in a variety of radiotherapy techniques including stereotactic body
radiotherapy (SBRT), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and image guided radiation
therapy (IGRT).
Research Interests
Dr. Daly’s research interests focus on the use of stereotactic body radiotherapy for the treatment of
early-stage lung cancer, metastatic lesions to the lung, and for primary and metastatic tumors of the
spine. She also has a research interest in head and neck cancer, specifically in the use of advances
in image guidance and conformal treatments to allow dose escalation while sparing normal tissues
and reducing the side-effect profile of radiation treatment.
Philosophy of Care
I believe in treating cancer aggressively while maintaining my patients’ quality of life and wellbeing. I feel that cancer treatment is a partnership between each patient and the team of specialists
providing care. My goal is for my patients to fully understand all treatment options and to feel
completely comfortable with their treatment decisions.
