American University Negotiation Project (AUNP)
AUNP will be hosting a Negotiation Simulation on the European Refugee Crisis on Wednesday,
November 11th in MGC Room 2 from 6 to 7:30 pm. If you would like to participate in the simulation,

Creative Peace Initiatives (CPI) has a goal to promote creative peacebuilding locally and globally. CPI

Trainings, Conferences and Speakers, (3) Networking Opportunities. Although currently inactive, we
are looking for new members to join and revive the group.

The Society for Peace and Conflict Resolution (SPCR) will be having their weekly meeting this Friday,
October 30th, at 5 pm in SIS 349 to plan and discuss upcoming events for the IPCR community. All

Making Conflict Work App
Professor Peter T. Coleman and Dr. Robert Ferguson of Columbia University have developed a free
mobile app for solutions to interpersonal and workplace conflicts. Based on research from their book on
conflict resolution, this app applies these techniques to provide suggestions for navigating conflict in

Winter Program on Multi-Track Diplomacy: Transforming Violent Conflict
The Center for International Development and Conflict Management at the University of Maryland is
offering its Winter Program on Multi-Track Diplomacy: Transforming Violent Conflict. This is an 80-hour
program of evening seminars and two weekend workshops, which provides training in applied conflict
management skills applicable at all levels of life, from interpersonal and organizational conflict to
preventing wars and building peace. This program will not count for AU credit unless otherwise stated.

are of interest to them, iTrek is a great experience to meet with leaders in various fields.
