Sheffield Attorney sheffieldj@lanepowell.com 206.223.6114 Areas of Practice Jennifer Sheffield is an active member of Lane Powell’s Commercial Litigation, Class Action Defense, Intellectual Property, and Privacy and Data Security practice groups. Jennifer has represented businesses and other professionals in complex litigation involving claims of breach of contract, consumer protection violations, infringement of intellectual property rights, professional malpractice, insurance coverage and bad faith, wrongful death and personal injury. She has successfully litigated disputes in state and federal courts across the country, including disputes before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jennifer also focuses her practice on advising and representing clients in regulatory matters, such as resolving and avoiding licensing disputes. Prior to joining Lane Powell, Jennifer worked as a Law Clerk with the Office of the Attorney General where she wrote pleadings, motions, briefs and memorandum in a variety of claims involving the Department of Labor and Industries, as well as adult guardianship and parental rights termination matters. Her professional experience also includes serving as a Legislative Aide with the Spokane City Council, during which time she co-created a water conservation program, later implemented on a county wide basis and serving over 400,000 residents.
