Sanjiv N. Kripalani (Sanju) is the Firm’s Director of Business Development. Sanju is a trained
business transactions lawyer and applies his unique skill set in furthering the Firm’s client relations
efforts by understanding our customers’ business needs and connecting with business opportunities.
Having held a number of senior management positions with private companies, he understands the

Prior to joining Lane Powell, Sanju was a Capital Partner in the Corporate, Securities and Finance
Group of Stoel Rives; Director of Business Development at Perkins Coie; General Counsel of
$7.5 billion turnover IVL PLC; Project Manager of the New Americans Campaign; and owner of
Portland’s beloved 1201 nightclub.
