Do not attempt resuscitation

****Please note that if a patient is found in a pulseless cardiopulmonary arrest, DNR and DNR/DNI are
the same, do not attempt resuscitation. The difference between DNR and DNR/DNI is highlighted only
when a patient is experiencing cardiopulmonary deterioration before arrest (e.g. actively declining).
For the actively declining patient, DNR/DNI confers the ability to not intubate a patient (e.g. lung
cancer, end stage COPD) but provide all other care.
