This liaison answers SG2 - LS 87.
ITU-T SG11 would like to thank ITU-T SG2 for their liaison (SG2 LS87) including a request to
consider a draft new Recommendation “Conformance test plan for Number Portability
requirements defined by ITU-T Q.Suppl.4”.
As Q.Suppl.4 was developed by ITU-T SG11 some years ago, ITU-T SG11 wishes to continue any
activities on this topic. In this regard, we would like to inform ITU-T SG2 that ITU-T SG11 agreed
to start a new work item Q.MNP_TS. The description of the new work item will be made available
in the SG11 work programme. The baseline text of the work item is represented in TD 751
(GEN/11).
Also, seeing the interest of the ICT market and bearing in mind the suggestion from ITU-T SG2,
ITU-T SG11 is going to start the relevant conformance testing pilot project. Any details about this

In accordance with all above, ITU-T SG11 added the new work item to the living list of
Recommendations and related specifications within key technologies suitable for C&I testing. The
list is publicly available on the ITU C&I Portal.
ITU-T SG11 will keep SG2 informed about progress on new work item Q.MNP_TS and relevant
pilot project.
In case ITU-T SG2 wishes to submit any additional updates on key technologies on C&I, pilot
projects and reference table of ITU-T Recommendations which are suitable for C&I, please use the
relevant application forms. These forms are represented in relevant Annexes of ITU-T SG11 Action
plan on C&I which is available in TD70 (GEN/11). All this information is publically available at
