ITU-T SG11 would like to thank ITU-T SG2 for their liaison (SG2 LS87) including a request to consider a draft new Recommendation “Conformance test plan for Number Portability requirements defined by ITU-T Q.Suppl.4”. As Q.Suppl.4 was developed by ITU-T SG11 some years ago, ITU-T SG11 wishes to continue any activities on this topic. In this regard, we would like to inform ITU-T SG2 that ITU-T SG11 agreed to start a new work item Q.MNP_TS. The description of the new work item will be made available in the SG11 work programme. The baseline text of the work item is represented in TD 751 (GEN/11). Also, seeing the interest of the ICT market and bearing in mind the suggestion from ITU-T SG2, ITU-T SG11 is going to start the relevant conformance testing pilot project. In case ITU-T SG2 wishes to submit any additional updates on key technologies on C&I, pilot projects and reference table of ITU-T Recommendations which are suitable for C&I, please use the relevant application forms.
