Areas of Practice
Brian Bodine focuses his practice on patent, trademark and trade secret litigation. Brian is a
registered patent attorney and has served as a court-appointed expert to address issues relating to
patent claim interpretation, infringement and validity. Brian is also a qualified Rule 39.1 mediator
for intellectual property disputes in the United States District Court for the Western District
of Washington. He served as President of the Washington State Patent Law Association and
Chair of the Executive Committee of the Intellectual Property Section of the Washington State
Bar Association. Chambers USA’s Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business listed him as a
“Leading Lawyer,” stating “he is highlighted by peers for his significant experience in the IP market,
and focuses on trademark and patent disputes.” He frequently speaks on issues of interest to the
Intellectual Property Bar.
