Areas of Practice
William Weiner focuses his practice on labor and employment matters, and has litigated
employment-related cases in federal and state courts, and before various administrative agencies. He
has handled all aspects of litigation up through and including trial in a wide range of issues, such as
discrimination, failure to accommodate, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, breach of
contract, wage and hour violations, and ERISA claims. He also advises and counsels employers on
a diverse range of compliance issues, including employee leaves, classification, wage and work hours,
discipline and preventative anti-discrimination practices.

Represented large insurance company and two individual defendants in discrimination, harassment and retaliation case in Los Angeles Superior Court; obtained summary judgment and awards of more than $75,000 in fees
Represented large health care company and doctor in tortious interference and defamation case in Los Angeles Superior Court; obtained voluntary dismissal of all claims, with prejudice, by plaintiff
Represented large international airline in race discrimination case in Central District of California; successfully obtained a dismissal of primary claims and plaintiff subsequently dismissed ancillary claims with prejudice
Represented large national technology solutions company and multiple individual defendants in national origin discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage and hour case in Los Angeles Superior Court; the individual defendants were voluntarily dismissed and after conducting discovery, the remaining claim was settled favorably for the company
Represented Fortune 500 multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate and company executive in wrongful termination and misclassification case in Los Angeles Superior Court; after conducting thorough discovery, plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the wage and hour claims and the remaining claims were settled favorably for the clients
