Verification Tracking Groups
Students who are selected for verification will be placed in one of the five Tracking Groups listed
below. The group determines which FAFSA information must be verified. Additional information
may be requested by the institution if in the opinion of the staff, the provided information does not
confirm the accuracy of the data. The school may also request documentation to resolve apparent
conflicts, whether or not the student was selected for verification. You will be notified through
your MJI email account if you are selected for Verification. The Tracking Group will be indentified.
The Verification Forms are available through the Student Portal. There are separate forms for each
tracking group for Dependent and Independent Students. If you have any questions, please contact
the Financial Aid Office.
