Joseph R. Chinnici will serve as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President; Microsoft veteran Cameron Ferroni as EVP, Product and Engineering; utility executive Kenneth R. Floyd as EVP, Marketing and External Affairs; and Steven J. With more than 30 years of financial leadership experience, he served as Chief Financial Officer for 12 years at telecommunications technology supplier Ciena Corporation. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Comverse Technology. Prior to Ciena, he held a variety of financial positions at Sara Lee Corporation and Playtex Corporation. Mr. Ferroni is responsible for GridPoint’s strategic product development efforts and leads the product and engineering teams. The software industry veteran has served in a variety of capacities – from application developer to Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Ferroni began his career at Microsoft and is a founding member of the Xbox team, running the 250-person Xbox Platform Software and Services group responsible for the core software aspects of Xbox 360 and Xbox Live. Recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer for Marchex Inc., a public technology and search services company. Mr. Floyd leads GridPoint’s marketing, corporate communications and external affairs efforts including industry and media relations. He has executive leadership experience with the nation’s largest gas and electric utilities in managing customer care, marketing, demand side management and field operations. Most recently, Mr. Floyd served as Vice President for Customer Solutions at Xcel Energy. Previously, he was Director of Customer Service for the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). He began his career with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), where he led a turnaround effort for the utility’s call centers. Mr. Cory leads GridPoint’s field operations for customer installation and service. He has 25 years of experience in executive management, customer care, engineering, product development, service provisioning and operations in the software and telecommunications industries. Most recently, Mr. Cory served as the Senior Vice President of Operations at NeuStar, a provider of clearinghouse and directory services to the global communications and Internet industry. Previously, he held senior executive roles at Qwest Communications, Oncor Communications and Telesphere Communications.
