RESOLUTION TO APPROVE NAMING OF EAST BUILDING
WHEREAS, Saul K. Fenster served as President of NJIT for twenty four years; and
WHEREAS, through his tireless leadership, the size, scope and the impact of the
university has grown substantially; and
WHEREAS, the naming of a facility is an appropriate recognition for such a
distinguished person; and
WHEREAS, the completion of the East Building is a significant enhancement to the
facilities of the campus and marks the conclusion of the capital improvement
program begun by President Fenster,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees hereby names the
East Building in honor of Saul K. Fenster; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees directs that an appropriate
ceremony be held to mark the naming of the Saul K. Fenster Building.
