Career Development Services produces an annual employment, starting salary, and graduate school report for
the May graduating class. The report is compiled from multiple sources including the NJIT graduating student
satisfaction survey and hiring results information submitted by students and employers who have utilized the
career center.
Nearly 50 percent of all BS and MS graduates are employed or have received job offers upon degree
completion, which is significantly higher than the 29.3% national average for all BS college graduates this year,
as reported by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). NJIT graduates are beginning their
careers at companies that include Verizon, AT&T, PSEG, ExxonMobil, Johnson & Johnson, Morgan Stanley,
PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Panasonic, and Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.
