Mary (Maurer) Brazil

My name is Mary (Maurer) Brazil; I
was born in Pomona, California. I
was the 2nd of 3 children born to Jake
& Esther. I was the 1st to go to
college in my family, and the 2nd
nurse in my family. I graduated from
Fresno State College in 1966. I
obtained a Bachelors of Science
degree in Nursing. I married Richard
Brazil and we have 3 children. Michael; age 38 is a
dairyman, Karen; age 34 is a banker, and Pamela; age 30 is
an RN.
I worked at Humb. Co. Public Health as a Public Health
nurse from 1966 to 1976 and again from 1999 to 2008 as a
supervising PHN. I have also worked as a school nurse;
3years, hospice; 6 years, and at Blood Bank; 7 years.
