ICT standardization gaps in the African Region Examine issues of concern & develop Regional proposals 6 CEPT SG & Question restructuring: CEPT prefer 8 SGs (merger of SG9+16 and SG11+13 advantages ?) , Possible alternative proposal for changes (re FG) if 10 SGs remain. A.7 will be studied as well. Questions, proposals have been submit to SG17, SG2 and SG5 meetings and will continue to other SG meeting. Revision of WTSA Resolutions: Res 47 (ccTLD) and 48 (IDN) - merge, and move IDN also under SG2 responsibility . Res. 50 (Cybersecurity) – add text on cooperation with other orgs. Res. 64 (IPv6) – remove instruction to SG 2&3, focus on capacity building in cooperation with other orgs. WTSA Resolutions implementation status: identify the Res of priority to CEPT 7 ARB-1 no changes to the current SG structure. review Recommendation A.7. review various Resolutions. Accreditation of ARB Labs (ISO 17025) CERT Tunisia: Capacity building & regional test Lab. Newcomer orientation for a summary of the key issues to be discussed by the SG (SG Counselor) Proposed an Inter-sector rapporteur group Further awareness of Academia programme and Further reduction of Academia fees for LDC Where should gaming standards be developed?
