LSD at 10% Level
Std. Err. of Entry Mean
1. Yields calculated as 56 pounds per bushel at 13.0% moisture.
2. C.V. = 28.9%, and df for EMS = 48.
3. The F-test indicated no statistical difference at the alpha = 0.10 probability level; therefore, a LSD value was
not calculated.
Bolding indicates entries yielding equal to highest yielding entry within a column based on Fisher's protected LSD
(P = 0.10).
Planted:
November 11, 2004.
Harvested:
June 15, 2005.
Seeding Rate: 18 seeds per foot in 7" rows.
Soil Type:
Tifton loamy sand.
Soil Test:
P = Medium, K = Medium, and pH = 6.2.
Fertilization:
Preplant: 25 lb N, 50 lb P2O5, and 75 lb K2O/acre.
Topdress: 68 lb N/acre.
Management: Paratilled and rototilled; Harmony Extra used for weed control; Dimethoate used for insect control.
Previous Crop: Small grains.
Test conducted by A. E. Coy, R. B. Bennett, R. E. Brooke, and R. B. Burton.
