The Georgia Agricultural Experiment Stations College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences The University of Georgia Research Report Number 696 October 2004 Blairsville, Georgia: Corn Hybrid Performance, 2004, Nonirrigated Corn grain test was conducted at Blairsville but was not harvestable due to wind and water damage from two tropical depressions (hurricanes). The remnants of Hurricane Ivan caused 100% lodging of the grain test and it remained under water for more than three days.
