Economics 850: Economics For
Teachers, Part 1 (online)
(3 credits)
June 7 - June 25, 2010 (or completion)
Like the Econ 850: Part 1 face-to-face course,
the online version is also designed for K-12
teachers to strengthen their understanding of how
our economy works using online, engaging and
innovative teaching methods. This course is great
for teachers who may need more flexibility in
their summer schedule. No prerequisites in
economics required. Complimentary teacher
resource materials provided.
Economics 850: Economics For
Teachers, Part 2 (online)
(3 credits)
June 21 - July 2, 2010 (or completion)
This course is a follow-up to Economics for
Teachers, Part 1. Anyone who has ever
participated in Econ 850, Part 1 will enjoy this!
The course will bring educators up to date on
materials for teaching economics in a variety of
subjects. Participants will analyze current
economic issues using a variety of online teaching
methods. A plentiful supply of complimentary
materials, handouts and great teaching ideas!
A prerequisite of Econ 850, Part 1 required.
Complimentary teacher resource materials
provided.
Economics 851: Special Topics
in Economics (online)
These courses will be open June 7-25, 2010 or
until completed
(1 credit each, optional up to 3 credits total)
