The Graduate Curriculum Subcommittee meeting was called to order by Chair
M. Xiao at 11:00 am in McLane Room 193.

Communication and announcements:
Dr. Sharon Brown-Welty presented two draft documents that are in
consideration and in discussion in the University and by the Graduate
Committee. The first is the Policy on Dual-listed, Co-Scheduled Courses
(draft dated 10/17/2011) and the second was the Policy on Blended
Programs—Bachelors/Masters/Master’s Certificates/Credential and
Masters/Doctorates (draft dated 9/14/2011). The committee was told to
expect further discussion and policy changes. Please note the specificity
regarding the syllabi of dual-listed graduate courses.
Dr. Brown-Welty informed the committee that there will be more
discussion in our committee meeting on November 15th regarding the
policies.
