Mr. Jonathan Portelli graduated in 2004 with a BSc (Hons.) Health Science in
Radiography. He is a state registered radiographer and has been on the
executive committee of the Maltese Society of Medical Radiographers since
2005. He was seconded from the Department of Health to the Radiography
Division at the IHC in 2006 and assists in lecturing, clinical tutoring, CPD
courses and organization of radiography students’ ERASMUS exchanges.
Between 2005 and 2007 he also performed duties as a Research Assistant
for a large longitudinal population study carried out at a local hospital. He is
currently furthering his studies at the University of Sheffield where he is
reading for an MSc in Health and Social Care Research, and is carrying out
research on the human perception of physical touch in radiography.
