Roderick Bugeja is a graduate of the University of Malta (BSc(Hons)) and a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board - Malta and the United Kingdom Central Council (UKCC). Specialised in Genito-Urinary Medicine (University of Sheffield, England) and is a Registered Sexual Health Adviser (Society of Sexual Health Advisers, England). For seven years, Roderick led national sexual health promotion, health education and sexual counselling service provision for Malta and Gozo. Furthered his post-graduate studies in Research Methodology (MPhil) at the Research and Graduate School of Education, University of Southampton. For two years he was seconded Research Officer with the Primary Health Care Dept, Malta. Roderick is also a Registered Nutritionist with the Council for the Professions Complementary to Medicine – Malta, holding a post-graduate Diploma in Health Science (Nutrition and Dietetics), and an Associate Music graduate of the Victoria College of Music - London (AMus(Hons)). Since February 2008, Roderick has become a full time academic member of the University of Malta and is currently reading a PhD in Sexuality and Relationships Education at the University of Southampton, UK.
