M.A. (Research) Quick Reference Sheet
I
It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the
regulations. A full copy of the regulations governing the M.A.

II It is your responsibility to maintain regular contact with your
supervisor and your co-supervisor for the duration of your
candidature.
III The duration of the candidatures is of three semester of fulltime study, extensions are not normally granted unless
exceptional circumstances can be argued.
IV An M.A. by research shall is composed of 10 ECTS of study
units together with a dissertation study-unit of 80 ECTS.
V The word length of an M.A. by research is of a minimum of
40,000 words and a maximum of 50,000 words. Theses not
conforming to the word length will be required to revise and
re-submit.
