Luther Soules III A Certificate of Achievement was presented to J. Hadley Edgar of Lubbock who was honored for his committee work which led to the completion of Pattern Jury Charges III. A professor at Texas Tech Uni­ versity Law School, Edgar served on Administration of Justice, and un­ der his leadership the committee completely redrafted the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. The com­ mittee will forward its report to the Supreme Court Advisory Commit­ tee for review. the Pattern Jury Charges Committee and headed the subcommittee work­ ing on the book. The second Certificate of Achievement was presented to San Antonio attorney Luther Soules III. Soules chaired the Committee on Special Presidential Awards Sandra Leitner 1078 Texas Bar Journal State Bar President Wayne Fisher presented two special awards during the Assembly. Sandra Leit­ ner, an Austin attorney, was awarded a Presidential Citation for her dedication and work with the Communications Department in the You and the Law newspaper se­ ries and the Ask a Lawyer radio show. She has been a close consult­ ant for these public service projects and has given many hours of time and effort. The President's Special Award was presented to Bill Cox of Hous­ ton for his outstanding service to the State Bar of Texas as a public member on the State Bar Board of Directors.
