JOB SUMMARY:
Identifies and documents IT design specifications based on analysis/assessment of user needs.
Generates need-gap analyses. Performs work of moderate complexity, handling most activities
under supervision of a senior IT Business Analyst. Serves as a member of a software
development or business process reorganization team.

______ Meets with customer groups to determine IT business requirements.

______ Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site
visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis,
and task and workflow analysis.

______ Provides information to developers and subject matter experts for the
establishment of the technical vision and performance needs.

______ Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external
customers) and the software development or business process re-engineering
team through which requirements flow.

______ Develops requirements specifications according to standard templates, using
natural language.

______ Participates in project meetings to review project deliverables and timelines.

______ Works with quality assurance personnel to ensure product adequately meets all
functional needs defined in scope of project.

______ Participates in testing developed software or new process flow.

employee will be notified to assist in the emergency response efforts, and
mobilize other staff members if needed.
