Musselburgh Grammar School
East Lothian Council
In May 2014, HM Inspectors published a letter on your child’s school. Since then,
Education Scotland has continued to engage with the school, and with East Lothian
Council, to monitor progress with the points for action agreed at the time of the
inspection.
In April 2015, East Lothian Council provided us with a detailed progress report which
outlined the improvements the school has made since the inspection.
Our Area Lead Officer and another inspector will visit the school in June to discuss
the progress report with the new headteacher and staff. We will then decide whether
we will carry out a further inspection. Parents will be informed of our decision.
Sally Stewart
HM Inspector
