2016 Child and Family Science Divine Self and Selves: Intergenerational Perceptions of Religion in Northern Thailand Sarah Tsutsui and Seema Prakash, recent CSUF Child Development graduates, will share preliminary findings of the qualitative research they have been conducting with Dr. McKenzie over the past six months. Focusing on religious beliefs and perceptions of Buddhist monasticism among urban and rural Thai adolescents and parents, this work addresses the religious implications of globalization in rapidly changing cultural contexts.
