FACULTY ITEMS STUDENT ITEMS COURSE ITEMS PROGRAM RELATED ITEMS The committee members expressed an interest in continuing to rotate meetings and suggested the Leadership Studies Building as one alternative. Dr. Cates and Ms. Stevenson will investigate the possibility of using Leadership Studies as a meeting spot. ACCREDITATION ITEMS The group discussed core competencies, to include those from University of Connecticut, the Association of Schools of Public Health, and those used for our Graduate Certificate assessment. Committee members volunteered to draft 2-3 competencies for each core area and send to MPH office no later than June 6, 2011. Procter/Kidd: Health Services Administration Each area of emphasis agreed to draft competencies for their area no later than June 6, 2011 The committee gave Dr. Cates advice on the handouts for the upcoming meeting with the Deans and Department Heads. The group wants to move forward toward accreditation, providing leaders with specific necessary actions needed for governance and resources.
