The fee of $2955 includes:
• 3 units of Fresno State credit
• All instruction
• Airport transfers
• Lodging with breakfast daily

his course is a study abroad opportunity with
Niigata University of Health and Welfare. It will
expose students to a powerful, once-in-a-lifetime
international immersion experience that provides the
participants an invaluable perspective on Japan and
a significant understanding of the many Japanese
cultural, educational, and health care practices.
Participants will take a city tour of Tokyo, including the
Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, Ginza, Akihabara, and
Asakusa. The visit to Kyoto will include a traditional
market area shopping district, Kinkaku-Ji, Ryoanji (for
self-meditation), Japanese Crafts activity, and a Guion
Geisha cultural arts performance. The excursion to Osaka will visit the Osaka Castle and the Dotonbori district,
including Okonomiyaki (cook it yourself, all you can eat
dinner.)

Round trip airfare from Fresno to Japan, passport

Required pre-departure orientation at Fresno State. See instructor for date and location.
Scholarships are available to eligible students. Contact
Dr. Trueblood for information.

Proof of a valid passport is required prior to the trip.
Any disability requiring special attention must be
reported to the instructor.
Course fee is $2,955. A deposit of $500 is due to the
Division of Continuing and Global Education by March
30, 2016. The final payment of $2,455 is due May 6,
2016. Note: all fees are subject to change.
